CAF AIRSHOW!
In early October the Rio Grande Valley Wing of the Commemorative Air Force produces the only airshow of its kind south of San Antonio. CAF AIRSHOW! is a two day (Saturday and Sunday) family friendly extravaganza featuring WWII era warbirds recreating famous air battles, aerobatic performances by some of the finest stunt pilots in the country and a variety of modern military aircraft, both flying and static. And that’s not all. CAFAIRSHOW! also features ground activities such as food and drink concessions, flea market, kiddie land and much more.

Transportation Museum
The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Transportation Museum features displays that include 8 flying WWII aircraft and numerous vintage, operational ground and support vehicles. Most artifacts in the Museum were provided by South Texas families, which provide an up close and personal touch to the displays. Group and school guided tours are available year-round with advance notice. The Museum is located at the historically significant Port Isabel-Cameron County Airport, directly across the Laguna Madre from South Padre Island.
